Throughout 20+ years working in marketing communications, I made many job changes. Some call it a reinvention, but to me, it’s building on my strengths and expanding to keep up with emerging trends. Having a traditional corporate background was important as a foundation. Moving to agency work is a completely different environment, but most of the skillset is the same. The biggest transformation was becoming a consultant, particularly in the finance and technology worlds.
